Well done John & Judy - Fostering Futures Award Nomination!

Pictured above is post-transplant patient John Peresson and his wife Judy who were recently nominated for an award for their ongoing provision of foster care.

For their 20th anniversary, Anglicare Victoria held the Chairperson’s Awards in the member’s dining room of the MCG.

John and Judy attended this special event where they were presented with their Fostering Futures Award nomination.

They were then invited to Government House, however they couldn’t attend as John was transplanted just two days before!

John and Judy have been providing foster care for three years, and they are extremely committed and dedicated...they also provide care to multiple children and grandchildren of their own!

Their commitment never wavered in the face of John’s illness and need for transplantation. He is now recovering very well in hospital but is REALLY looking forward to getting home to his family.

Well done John and Judy, and thank you for all that you do!
